Following the path of other successful national non-partisan organizations like Rock the Vote & Citizen Change, Register to Speak Out increases youth voter participation in North Texas by using music and entertainment to make voting relevant. We coordinate voter registration drives, get-out-the-vote events and promote voter education efforts. We give young people the tools to identify, learn about and take action on issues that affect our future. The Youth vote counts now more than ever.
Founded by rising entertainer & philanthropist Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker in February 2008, Register to Speak Out returns Spring 2012 to help register new potential voters for the 2012 United States Presidential Race.
• Register new potential voters (100,000 +)
• Educate on the voting process and rights
• Provide links/resources to read about the issues and where to vote
• Find/dispel myths associated with voting
