Shellye L. Williams
Founder/Executive Director, National Business Women Enterprise (NBWEN)
Shellye Williams is a native of Muskogee, Oklahoma, graduating from Muskogee High School in the top 25% of her class and featured in the 1988 issue of Who’s Who Among American High School students. She went on to obtain an Associates Degree of Applied Science with an emphasis in Paralegal Studies and has plans to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing & Graphic Design and then onto law school to specialize in Entertainment Law.
Ms. Williams has over fourteen years combined experience as a Legal/Executive Secretary, Paralegal, and Administrative Assistant/Office Manager combined with over nine years as Entertainment/Marketing Manager, Managing Editor, Assistant Editor, Staff, Guest Writer and Copyeditor for various newsletters, newspapers, and magazines.
As CEO of Paradise Legal Support & Secretarial Services, she provides specialized business support services to a variety of individuals, authors, attorneys, corporations, nonprofit organizations, politicians, and small business owners. She has served as Assistant Editor/Writer for KRGM.com Magazine, Entertainment/Marketing Manager, Writer, and Copy Editor for 411 Sports & Entertainment News, Managing Editor for two newsletters and Writer for the Heartbeat Magazine of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas where Dr. Tony Evans is Senior Pastor.
She is the Founder/Executive Director of the National Business Women Enterprise Network (NBWEN), a faith based, non-profit organization committed to providing personal, spiritual, and professional development and support for women who own or desire to establish their own business through networking, education, leadership, mentoring, and association with other like-minded individuals. She is on the Board of Directors of The S.Y.N.D.I.C.A.T.E. Group, a non-profit organization providing support to artist managers and independent artists, and provides assistance and support to a variety of artists through Paradise Management, a division of Paradise Legal Support & Secretarial Services. In addition, she serves as Copyeditor for Shereese Hair & Beauty Magazine, Guest Writer for Rolling Out Magazine & Urban Sound Magazine, and served as an Intern with EIEG, LLC/D-Town Records.
Her experiences as a teen mom and single parent have given her opportunities to speak at various conferences to motivate youth and teen parents encouraging them to overcome adversity by setting goals, completing their education, and being the best they can be with Christ.
Her greatest desire is to travel to far away places to experience God's beauty all over the world. Along the way, she hopes to continue to minister to and encourage youth and single parents through all of the gifts God has given her in order for them to develop their relationship with Christ and reach the fullest potential for themselves and future generations.
Ms. Williams is the mother of four beautiful young people, Anthonie, Kyendel, Typhani, and Xaivier. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, playing piano, singing, and more writing. By God’s grace, she will complete her first book and stage play as well as continue to develop the talents and gifts of her children and others who happen to cross her path.
